Bangkirai, or Yellow Balau from Felixwood©, is a dense, sustainable wood that we have been importing for several decades using our unique know-how. The majority of our wood comes from FSC®-certified forest concessions in the north-east of the island of Borneo. All the timber is carefully inspected, cut and dried on the island of Java to Felixwood quality standards. All our boards are kiln dried before planing. This ensures the best possible quality and stability, in line with our requirements.
